PHP website management tools

What tools are available for managing PHP-based websites? These are the kind of features I'm looking for:

• template preview and launching: the ability to save a file and view its results privately (ie. not on the live server)

• template version control: automated diffs saved each time I commit or launch a file

• automated scheduled template execution: a layer on top of or outside of cron that will execute a PHP file at a specified interval

I have used PHP for personal use, but professionally my company uses Vignette. It has a desktop GUI "development center" which allows me to do all of the above.

Is there anything similar available in the PHP world?

I use Homesite 4.5 in conjunction with Xitami webserver running on my machine. that way I can map the preview in Homesite to go through my webserver and be displayed to me. That way i can see and PHP, CGI, Perl, or whatever else. It will also give you the preview of whatever you've done without having to save the file first. It has a 45 day trial version on their website www.allaire.com.
