IP Address

What's the $ variable to obtain the IP address of the client?

$REMOTE_ADDR; 🙂

That just returns 127.0.0.1 for some reason.

That's your Localhost when running Apache on a stand-alone machine.

BTW, I can't get a $REMOTE_ADDR from my hosting provider. I see it in phpinfo() but in my script it stays empty...

BTW2 How about IP addresses. Would all IPs from a particuar host have the same first 2 numbers ($REMOTE_HOST is not supported by my provider)?

That's something you've got to sort out with your hosting provider...
