PHP Send Mail

I have an Apache server on my PC and I installed PHP 4.04 on it.

How can I make a php script send an email? Do you have to install anything extra on my server? Can someone give me an example script that will send an email please??

Hi,

there is a line in php.ini file that tells you which kind of email uses. There are two options: SMTP or sendmail. In your case you must use the SMTP option and set your SMP mail server.
