Combination PHP - Mysql not working

Hey all,

I just updated to RH 7.1.. and just installed php & mysql, both programs are working fine seperat, but when i try to use mysql in php.. it is not working

and on the phpinfo() function... it says that it is not installed

so.. how can i do this... i have been looking around but didnt find a good solution about it

i installed both programs with rpm files...

I dont know if you have already done this but, if you havent then you need 1 more file. You need the file that "goes between" MYSQL and PHP. I dont remember what the file name is I know its a *.so file. Basicall just a library. As I said I dont know if you have already done this (or that MYSQL Lib might now come with php), but I remember having to do it once. Sorry cant be more of a help

Ok I found the module if that turns out to be the problem... its mysql.so
