$HTTP_POST_VARS Problem

hi everyone, sorry to bother you in thin lovely afternoon.
BUT I have a problem:

i try to get the post vars of my form with $HTTP_POST_VARS["name"];

and it returned nothing.

my form is using post method.

for a test i changed the form to use GET and then used HTTP_GET_VARS and it worked.

if you have a clue plz help.

What happens if you just refer to the posted variable. Like this sample page called formpost.php:
