question about pull down menu

Hello,
Could anyone tell me how to set up a relative pull down menu? For example, I have two pull down menu in one page. One let users select countries, the other let users select regions of that country the user select. The problem is I cannot let the second menu know what the user click in the first menu in one php file. Thanks a lot!!!!!

Unless you reload your PHP (or use Javascript) I don't believe this is possible.

Thanks for your reply. I've think about Javascript. For example, add the onclick or onchange option in select. However, I don't know how the php get the variable from javascript function. Is that possible? Thanks a lot!!!

can any one help me
i have a problem with drop down menu

i having a pulldown menu for project group next to it a text box,if i select a project group, in the next field the autonumber has to sit,it is from the database
i.e if info is a project group with 5 projects handled, then if select info from the drop down menu ,in the next field 6 must be there,from the database.

PHP would get the variable via an onclick option that would post onclick.

After user chose the project info, use "onclick" to a javascript function, and let this function sent the variable of the project info back to the php file, and use this variable search the db in the php file.
