I am looking for over three weeks now already for a discussion board based on php but not with mysql instead an abandon database. Can you help me here, I really need to find one soon!!!

We connect with odbc_connect to the database and this does not support mysql

Okay... I'll bite... what's an "abandon database"? And are you looking for discussion software that uses a non-MySQL database? Or looking for forums where you can ask questions?

I am looking for a message board which will not need any cgi script or mysql database. We have an abandon database and all the mesage boards I have senn so far ar based on mysql and nothing else.I hope this clarifies things

this is what is on our server, I am sorry to say I am not a programmer so my programmer told me we have something like adabas, I do not seem to be able to connect to a my sql server for whatever reason eventhough it mentions with mysql yes

Ahh, 'abandon' and 'adabas' are not exactly the same thing. I don't know of any that use adabas specifically, but anything that uses a db-abstraction library rather than written to a db-specific api might be workable.
