Question, Need answer ASAP!! :o)

I have a group of numbers (VIN numbers from cars) and I need PHP to parse the numbers so that it can proccess each group of numbers (in the VIN number) as an individual. How would I go about doing this? Thanks for any help :o)

You have 'a' group of 'numbers' and you want to do 'something' with them.

So are you saying you have a bunch of VIN numbers in a text file (delimited?), database table, on little metal stickers on the cars?? Could you be more specific? Can you send some some sample data (if not too confidential)? Knowing that you want to use PHP to parse out the data, I would assume that you are trying to post the individual VIN numbers on the Web somewhere? I would also assume that the data is probably a text file. If that's the case, regular expressions can help. If you had been more detailed, I would have been more detailed here.

Well, I posted the question after being up working for 48+ hours.. Now that I have gotten some sleep I figured it all out.. What I was trying to do with the VIN numbers wont work cause some manufactures have the same codes... Decided to go with a all out database, joy! Thanks for your willingness to help
