How i cang get any page from the interne

I want to get(open any page from my clinit machine)
from th internet?
I use command fopen("http://www.yahoo.com","r");
but it isn't work!!!!???
Note:i'm using win2000 Profesional
server:IIS
*this job which i want to know it like Crawler job;

fopen or fsockopen will work. Just make sure you're not behind a proxy server, in which case you'll have to do a little extra work. Read the pages and comments on fopen and fsockopen... those functions work and work well.
