Custom Fonts

If I create a site and attempt to dynamically create some images using my custom font located on the server, will the visitor see this image without having this font on their system? Or will they need to install it on their pc as well?

If you are creating an image, then the user will see the font correctly, if you are specifying the font to the browser, then the user will have to have the font on there system to see it correctly.

So if you whole site is in Verdana, and you want to generate an image with the text in Verdana the user will see the image with Verdana text, but if they don't have the Verdana font on there system then they won't see the text in the same style as the image.
