okay, this is what I am trying to do. I am trying to set up a home server, using my win 98 and ms office and cable connection, to set up a webpage for the alumni at my school. I managed to do it using MS Access, ASP pages and the clumsy Personal Web Server.
However, after going through this forum, I believe I need to venture into something better. If I want to utilize PHP, what do I need? A web server ( Apache)? SQL server (MySQL)? anything else?
what do you guys think? Is it pretty simple to do?
