I would like to know if anybody out there has had experience setting up IIS (v4.0 or v5.0) web sites to authenticate using an LDAP server such as OpenLDAP.
In other words, if I were to go to a protected web site hosted by an IIS server, I would like to contact my LDAP server for verification data and return true or false based on what the user submitted.
Please any assistance, tips or even ideas will be greatly appreciated.
I had thought about ASP widgets or a small code in the page itself to make calls into the LDAP server and depending on what it returns grants or denies the request.
