reading in php from a file

I am attempting to have a php enabled page read in another php page, is this possible?
currently- it just reads the page in, hides it from the broswer, and puts the entire page in the source. Even the non-php parts of the page don't work.

n/m i was attempting to read it in like a file, for some reason i forgot about include();
