Flash/PHP

Does anyone know if it is possible for php to comunicate with a flash movie..

for example:

Your movie starts, asks for a login or whatever, uses a php script to query a database, and returns yes or no that is then sent to the flash movie and tells it to continue the movie..

I guess what I am asking is, can php interact with a running flash movie?

I know that you can send data from a movie to a script, and I know that you can build a movie based on dynamic data and a flash template.

If so, can anyone give me some links to tuts or whatever??

Short answer - Yes!

Your Flash script calls 'Get Url' with your PHP script as the url.

Your PHP script has to reply with a list of variables and their values.

Flash then uses the variables 🙂

I'm slowly understanding how it all fits together.
My lack of actionscript/javascript experience is making things a little hard tho..
