Popup window on submit

Hey all,

I have a pretty simple form, where the user fills out some boxes, then hits submit, then currently it uses PHP to display some new information.

I would like to have a new window pop up when I hit submit, with the result form fromt he submit. Any way I can do this?

Nice, i never realized it was so simple, i was thinking javascript onclick or whatnot was needed =).

Also, i recently visited an online store, when i clicked some button that submitted my data, it opened a new window, and in the new window, it poped up a print box(same box as if you hit Cntrl+P). Any way to do this that anyone could think of? (Id like the people to print the form when the window opens.)

Sure... within the new window's HTML, do this:

function printThisWindow() {
window.focus();
window.print();
}
</script>
</head>
<body onLoad="printThisWindow();">
<!-- stuff goes here --!>
</body>

I use the focus() method before the print() method to be safe, because some flavors/versions of web browsers don't print the expected window or frame when dealing with frames. Keep in mind also that print() doesn't work at all before JavaScript 1.2 -- hopefully this doesn't apply to any of your users....
