how my asp code is called.

I am new in asp.
I woul like to understand if my asp code is called directly from address part of the browser or called from my html page.

If you cant notice this is a php site (not asp) but hey we all have to code in something. ASP is called a server side language because it is processed by the server and then the results (usually html - you can choose what it spits out) return to the browser and are displayed if necessary.
