HI,
I've just created my first (very simple) ldif file, put it into openldap, started the slapd demon and trying to bind from php.
Everything works fine excepts that it takes about 15 second to process on a 1.3Ghz ATHLON with 400 Mo ram..
The command lines (ldapadd, ldapsearch,etc.) works very quickly but when i use php, it slows everything down.
I don't think it is because of my coding ..it works equally on LDAPExplorer.
I'm using the openldap 1.2 and it is the same qhen i compile from the sources or by rpm.
Is there a way of "boosting" things?
I would appreciate any help or advice.
