Hey all, whats going on...?
Anywho..I want when my users sign up they get an automatic email sent to them with their sign-up information (username, password, etc).
I, however, am serving my page from my PC (Windows ME using Apache server)and I don't have smtp or sendmail, so obviously the php mail function will do no good.
My question: Where can I get the sendmail program? Can I just download it and have it send emails for me, or do I have to have a smtp server (which, by the way, I know nothing about) ??
Bottom Line: I want to send automatic emails!! Whats the dilio on this whole sendmail/smtp crizzity crap everyone's talking about.
