Greetings folks.
I'm currently trying to use PHP to transfer an entire databse to XML. And it's fairly easy. However I have hit a snag.

This is the document, error included (if you open it in IE 5.5). When I open it up in internet explorer, it gives me an error. I've tried using HTMLspecialChars on the username fields to escape the e with the tick over it (which seems to be the trouble character), but it dind't help, it still gives an error.
How can ASCII representable character data be invalid in XML? How can I rectify this in PHP? Any ideas at ALL would be appreciated, I've hit a dead end.
