I am currently building a website for magicians. (As in cards and rabbits in hats, not occult.) I need to hire a PHP or Perl programmer, hopefully cheaply, to customize/implement a shopping cart, product review program, local search engine, inventory program, and member's area password system. Have a bit of a search through the forum on what kind of prices to agree to.
whatever you do, do NOT agree to an hourly rate, agree to a total price for the full project. And don't pay too much, there are ready-made shoppingcart scripts out there.
