got a bit of a problem. i'm converting my site from .cfm to .php. i have the new site built, and its working pretty well. however, i've got quite a few links out there from search engines and other sites that link to a specific .cfm pages buried in my site...
i would like for those visitors to be redirected to a new index page, without receiving a 404 or waiting for a redirect after a 404. (btw, can you put custom 404 pages while using apache?) anyway, is there some php voodoo i can put in my root directory to automatically detect a .cfm request, and then serve up a default .php page?
thanks for any help, my AIM is designflea, and my email is designflea@hotmail.com
