What is the best book to learn apache? and what about php? please reccomed good books to start with.

Forget books, start with tutorials and the manual.

Books are expensive and often don't teach you what you want to learn.

I agree.
I learned all I needed about Apache from studying the install guide and I learned PHP purely from the manual (but I do have nearly 7 years of programming experience).

The PHP manual is the best I've ever seen, especially the CHM version, with full text searches, hyperlinks, etc.
