This isn't really a php thing, but I've seen sites that have TEXTAREAs, and if your browser has the right stuff, it'll hide the textarea and show a box with buttons where you can click and make bold text, change the colours etc. without knowing html. This is ideal foe a site I'm working on, since some people don't know html.
I've searched the net and found "RichEdit", but it costs like $50, anyone know of any free ones that'll do a similar thing, or should I try writing my own in JS?
