Is there anything that i can type in php to make the browser redirect me to somewhere else.

like this
if($something==$something) {
redirect me
} else {
echo "Hello";
}

Use an HTTP Header as follows:

Header("Location: http://your.domain.here");

this works but the problem with this is that this statment(headers ) have to be the first output to browser else you get some warning like" headers already sent......blah blah"
you may try this too

Yes, but josh wanted to use PHP and that's JavaScript. So, let's turn of javascript and boom, no support for redirecting that way anymore...

This will do an HTML redirect, so you can put in a delay(2) and display a message that says, you have entered an outdated page and are being re-routed, please update your link.
