quota on folder !?

Hi, I have an uploader to send files to a folder on a server. Without asking a technician where my server is located, is it possible to just limit the amount of data (to 10 MB for example) the users sends in?

Or do I have to go through the technician? or is there a few lines of code just to check if the folder is not bigger than 10 MB ?
