Admin section of web site do I need Sess

Hi I am running an admin section on my web site to allow the adding deleteing etc. from a MySQL database. There is aproximately 6 pages that need protecting. Can I just use an authentication script on the top of each of the protected pages or will I get a authorisation prompt each time the administrator wants to change to another protected page?

Depends on how you implement it. I would recommend taking a look at http://www.phpsecurepages.f2s.com/ - I use it and have integrated it into a couple of things...
