Image Size

Is there a way I can get the size of an image which is on another server without loading it onto my server?

http://www.php.net/getimagesize

However, you must have php 4.0.5 or greater to use the URL functionality. Hope that helps!

Thanks, but it didnt help really because my hoster only got PHP version 4.0.4pl1. Is there a way though?
