How to get my postdata "demagic_quoted"?

i run my script on a server wich has magic_quotes enabled...
but i need to have my post data back with no escape chars!
Isn't a way to turn magic_quotes off?
Or:
Wich chars does magic_quotes skip?
Maybe with a replace() I can replace \' with ' and so on....
Help!
