Using php and sendmail, I have an email script to send html emails to more than 1000 adresses blind copied. This will obviously slow my server down. Does anyone have any ideas on how to send these in a more efficient manner.

Im not sure off hand but I think there is some way to get a pause for a few seconds for each email going out, this would lessen the load i think. sorry dont know more.
