Help with virtual host setup?

Hi guys, I'm in a spot of bother here. I'm trying to setup a virtual host for local dev.

I have localhost as one site and have made a directory called twentytwenty to hold the virtualhost. Currenty I've told apache to listen to port 81 aswell as 80 but either http://localhost or http://twentytwenty shows the same index page for localhost.

Here is the very last few lines from httpd.conf

<VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:81>
DocumentRoot "/var/www/twentytwenty"
ServerName twentytwenty
</VirtualHost>
</IfDefine>

And here is the complete entry for /etc/hosts

Do not remove the following line, or various programs

that require network functionality will fail.

127.0.0.1localhost.localdomain localhost
127.0.0.1twentytwenty

Hope someone can help as I'm dying a death here!

Here's my Virtual host setup for port 81:

ServerAdmin webmaster@myserver
DocumentRoot /var/www/webserver
ServerName myserver
ErrorLog logs/myserver-error_log
TransferLog logs/myserver-access_log

   Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews

Thanks Danny, I've just sussed it, silly really I was trying to make it recognize vhosts adjacent the default root as opposed to under it!
