Source of data...

That's the problem : i'm doing a system that can be integrated in a web site. But the administrator of the web site who has integrated my system in his site has to send me some data. But there's a lot of people who can integrate my system in their site. So i'd like to find a way to know the source of the data. I've already found the variable HTTP_REFERRER, but it's anenvironnement variable, and it depends on the navigator. So if you have another way, tell me. It would be great.

make a simple php script that looks like this:

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

and look for info that will be unique, like IP address, or use http authentication and check the $PHP_AUTH_USER variable to see who is sending the data.
