Help with includes

Hi all,

I want to load my pages faster. (homepage over 140,000k mostly html with some images(all optimized)).
1. Does using includes speed the loading process?

I saw in another discussion here the question of how to cache pages. Is this possible? How to code for this??

Lots of alternatives. But you really aren't stating php in the mix? How much PHP is there? Is PHP generation the main issue or just static HTML? If so - check Zend's ZendCache - that can improve perf. significantly.

The majority of the page is static HTML.
In order to use ZendCache..I need to have my webhost install it on the server, right?
What is an alternative?
