Problems with cookies

Hi

I got a problem with cookies. I set them with setcookie("name",$param,time()+7200); that would set the cookie to last 2 hours. But when I'm trying to delete the cookie with setcookie("name"); it sometimes doesnt work and the cookie stays for 2 hours or until deleted 😉

Does anybody know how I can fix this? I tried to set the cookie with other variables that normaly cant't be set (the ID field = -1 though all my IDs start from 1) but that messes up my script.

To quote php.net, "when deleting a cookie you should assure that the expiration date is in the past, to trigger the removal mechanism in your browser." So try something like this: setcookie("name",$param,0); or setcookie("name",$param,time()-63072000);
