hey i was wondering how i set up my php server, like how do i install php on my win2K system. If there's somewhere that can give me step by step directions ,cause i know it's probably gonna be some long steps, that'd be great, but if there short and you think you can help me that's kool to, thanks yo, peace.

hey i got most everything set up except for when the apache server thing comes up it says "could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, useing 127.0.0.1 for servername" i went back though all the steps twice and still got the same thing, i tried changing the servername but no luck there either, i'm pretty much in a corner and have no where to go except for the smark people (.e. you guys). Anyway i appreciate the help so far and will be greatful for any future help you may have to offer, peace

I get the same thing but if you run apache and mysql it still works

Run apache.exe and then mysql.exe and then try a php file it should be it the www foler and the url would be
http://localhost/test.php

if the file was test.php
