Recognize values in adress

If i have a "www.any.com/any.php?main=value1&head=value2" adress, how do i recognize the value to the variables in php, inside any.php, making it possible for me to build a simple html frameset using the information in the adress?
Making Something like:
<?php
-script-
echo
"<frameset>
<frame name=main src=$main>
<frame name=head src=$head>"
Etc...
im new to php, and i havent found this exact information anywhere else.

First of all, TS, please, please read the documentation - www.php.net/docs.php - from the start. This is perhaps the simplest thing possible in PHP, and in fact, you just described the solution exactly yourself. To grudgingly answer your questions, if you have a URL like any.php?main=value1&head=value2, then in any.php, the value of $main will be "value1" and the value of $head will be "value2."
