how to edit?

Hello,

I am trying to find out how newspaper/magazin web sites use php to publish articles? Is there any special program for them to edit every article, generate HTML code for it and send it to the client side?

Or do they have something which automatically edits any articles?

What I mean with 'to edit' is, every article its own features such as pictures, number of commas etc..

Try looking up Microsofts WYSIWYG DHTML editor. It is a webbased WYSIWYG editor. With use of this MS future you can edit articles with a tool that looks almost the same as frontpage direct on the web. You only need a new IE browser for this function.

on my site i give users the ability to post news.. but once it is posted i set a "ok_topost" field in my db to 0 and then i have a screen that allows me to view and edit them and then i can check a check box and it sets the "ok_topost" field to 1 and if it is 1 then the news is posted.
