admin access

I want a part where i can the admin can access a part of a website which has certian things to update like the news ! I want a menu and stuff is it possible/??

yes it is, just build it.

that's perfectly possible.. Just make a login section which checks the username and password with either a database or just a normal .php
then set a cookie that sets the admin option. And if you're logged in according to the cookie another menu will be shown from where you can add and delete news etc...

remember, that if you want to make a news section, the best thing to use is a database.

i hate to plug my own project, but if you want login/password protection without having to build it yourself you should use php_lib_login (http://freshmeat.net/projects/php_lib_login/)

it works with just about any database you want too.
