php and Netscape part II

Thanks for the suggestion to check the <table>/</table> tags. I did this however, I am still getting an incredibly long waiting time in Netscape (but not in IE). In addition, when accessing a db backend site in Netscape I get nothing - even for logo!

I have to be extremely careful when coding for Netscape especially when I am pulling something from a DB. I always find that I have a tendency to mess up my beginning and ending tags when I'm outputting error messages or something. A good way is just to view source and past it into composer to see what it'll show you. It tends to be a little more lenient than the browser itself.

I have done a lot of testing with slow loading dynamic pages in Netscape (NS).
NS has a rendering problem with nested tables (table inside a table, inside another table, etc.). The more nested tables you have the slower the loading time. If you have tables nested 3 or more deep and are returning several records, prepare for a long wait.

Thanks, I actually coded these pages within an IDE (Dreamweaver) and then converted them to php template pages. Do you think it may have something to do with using the templates because I have another site that is not using the db but rather just using the template and the bigger pages render VERY slowly if at all (in NS).
