hi,

i would like to know what i can do with a http header with php. i would like to change only the name of my browser.. is something possible with php ? if yes, how and if not for what could it be used ?

so i read the previous post and was curious about this. so i did a google search and ended up at this page:

http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec14.html#sec14.43

now, i would think that adding this line to your script would send a user agent:

header("User-Agent: made-up-agent/1.3");

but i have been trying this and getting unsuccessful results. anyone have any suggestions, comments, or corrections in my thoughts of how to do this?

any help is greatly appreciated.
