thumbnails?

whats the easiest way to create thumbnails of user uploaded images \"on the fly\"? ive tried a lot of things but none worked.

unfortunatly i only have servers running windows, do image manipulation commands only work on unix or something?

Image manipulation requires the GD libraries. If you install those with your windows PHP distribution, then you'll have access to all the image manipulation functions at http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php
