Future Version Support Errors

Hi,

I keep getting this error message:

"Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of fsockopen(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. However, future versions may not support this any longer. in /home/sites/site60/users/goldy/web/mail/inc/class.POP3.php on line 63"

What does it mean?
What do I need to do if anything?
And if I don't need to do anything, how can I stop it from appearing?

I looked at the PHP.net site for info on errors been shown, but I don't understand it.

It means exactly what it says:
somethere in the code a variable is passed by reference like this:

$this = function_name(&$var);

and the new PHP nolonger supports that.

Read the php manual about passing variables by reference.
