A disheartening CMS/Weblog/Portal search

I have a learned a great deal of information from your site. I practically learned php from reading the articles on here.

I am looking for your opinions on what I am about to talk about. I have been search for almost a year now for a CMS/Weblog/Portal such as PHPNuke, myPHPNuke, PHPWeblog, Geeklog, etc that supports PostgreSQL.

Don\\'t get me wrong, there are a few hacks and ports out there. But as soon as a new version comes out, you are back to square one.

I find it particularly disheartening that these projects are moving forward with unimportant features without increasing the # of platforms it can run on. I mean, there are more databases out there than just mysql. Oracle, M$, PGSQL, etc. That kind of tunnel vision (focusing on only one D😎 doesn\\'t really help.

Please let me know your thoughts on this as well if you know of ANY that do support pgsql.

I agree with you!

I use postgres and oracle ... you hardly find any application that supports these databases. at least postgres could be supported, given that it's free, powerful and has a comfortable shell.

the only drawback is the missing LIMIT clause.

who wants to hack into someone else's code in order to try a new forum version ...
