A Couple of Rookie Questions :-)

Extreme rookie here so please forgive me in advance.

Two questions:

A) Do all of your Web site pages have to have the .php extension or can they be mixed with .html pages?

😎 What's the best way to create a way for people to subscribe to my newsletter using PHP? The code involved seems to be tripping me up for some reason. Of course, I remember feeling the same way about HTML so long ago. LOL

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

1) they can be mixed, but any page containing php code must have a php suffix.

2) probably with a form that inserts the information you need into a database. You would probably want to authenticate with a confirming email as well.

A web site can have static and dynamic pages mixed together, however, you can have php only parse .php pages or you can have it only parse .html pages or you can have it parse .anythingyouwant pages and .anythingelseyouwant pages.
