I run a computer hardware site called OcPrices.com that does reviews, articles and news, and has a pricelist that features overclocking and case modding related hardware from (currently) 72 retailers from 9 countries.
As the site is growing, and as we are looking to add a number of extra features to it, our current PHP developer needs some assistance due to time constraints.
We are looking for 2-4 people that are 'good' PHP programmers. The site is meant to become totally Object Oriented.
Some of the features we are currently wanting to add:
- Make our pricelist update prices automatically from sites, either directly from the web or from a textfile the retailer has.
- Make posting content easier (although we do have a Content Management System that works great, it can still be improved)
- Make the pricelist search results be presented in a better way. So you can order them in any way you want.
- Make our internal stats better, so we can see how many times an article has been read, how many times a product has been viewed etc. And track prices over time etc...
If you feel any of this could be of interest to you, and if you have experience with any of this, don't hesitate to contact me at major@ocprices.com.
