PEAR question

okay, so I have the PHP Developers Cookbook, and it makes references to certain classes available from PEAR. Well I go to pear.php.net and see no class repository (or code, or anything). Is it located somewhere else? Or is this an error in the book?

(specifically it talks about a template.php and file_find class)

Pear should be part of the PHP installation, I haven't checked the Unix/Linux ones, but I know the win32 one I downloaded had a Pear folder with the files.
