Does anyone try to install PHP+MySQL on Window98 base PC(standalone), then test the coding via the Window Personal Web Server, or not really need the WPWS to configure the DB connection? I need some advice here for me for doing this.

You can install PHP and MySQL with PWS but I would recomend that you install Apache on your machine you can use the Apache+PHP+mySQL kit at:
