exit signal Illegal instruction

Hello,

I'm running a new install of PHP 4.0.6 with apache 1.3.20 on a freeBSD 4.4-RC system. Ever since the install, my apache error log has been accumilating alot of illegal instruction notices such as the below:

[Wed Sep 19 21:04:47 2001] [notice] child pid 25686 exit signal Illegal instruction (4)

I have been able to trace the PIDs to apache processes callign php pages. Although not all php pages seem to result in this type of error. It seems that only pages with the include() function cause this problem.

The pages seem to be serving up fine, for the end users. Has anyone come across a similar problem? FYI, you can get a more indepth overview of my system at http://flag.blackened.net/ise/phpinfo.php

I'm getting the very same error except that the include("whatever.php"); doesn't work.

I wonder how I can get the include() to work correctly?

I'm on AIX 4.3.3, Apache 1.3.20, PHP 4.0.6
