I'm in search for a class/function/script that handles the login the way vbulletin.com does at there forum.
It doesn't use the session functions from php, but it stores there 'sessions' in the database.

There script is to specific written for vBulletin.
there are lots of database session management scripts. phplib stores sessions in a db, and had decent user login/auth functionality. http://phplib.netuse.de.
