Hi! I have a list of names for members and i wanted to have a search page where i can look up if the company is listed or not. Can anybody give me some help how to do this?

Can you please explain in details as what is your problems. Where do you have the names of the company.
You can use a simple loop to run for each member and using that member name try to search the company's name from where ever you have your records.

This is the situation, i have a html file with just list of names of companies and it is all in text. I want to have another page to have a search that will say if the member is on the list or not. From html point of view, is this possible? Is this easier in PHP?

and i want to make a search for company and it should show if i have it or not.

It will be easier in PHP, and i dont think it is possible in HTML becuase HTML doesnt support scripting
