uninstalling old, installing new

hi,

i've have just uninstalled mysql on my NT, now i'am trying to install a newer version of MYSQL on it. When I try to delete the folder where i put the old mysql my computer says that there is file currently in use.

so try in install the new version but almost halfway through installation my computer says An error occoured during the move data process - 103

Can anybody help delete all the files in my MYSQL folder because i think that's the cause why i can't install the new version of mysql

Make sure you shut down the MySQL server before attempting anything.
